If you have the newest version of Quicktime and you are having trouble seeing mp4 files, use this tutorial. (Install packages usually don't let you downgrade, so you have to bypass this with a special program.)

http://www.macfixit.com/article.php?story=20080129095056351

This tutorial will help you downgrade Quicktime using Pacifist.

(Download Quicktime 7.3.1 for your OS, download Pacifist, open Pacifist, drag the .dmg of Quicktime on to Pacifist or press "Open Package," once the package is open.. highlight the name of the package and press "Install" at the top.. follow the on screen instructions.)

TO DO list:

-Compile contact list into vCard
-Compile training material for techs
-Begin screen shot tutorials ......

....why is there no "screen record" function in Leopard? I thought this was possible, am I just not seeing it?

Since last Tuesday, I've been working for the Kansas City Kansas Public School District at Sumner Academy as the on-site Mac Technician. This is a brand new position that started with the district's new Laptop for Learning program, which has deployed Apple laptops to the hands of all high school students in the district. I will be updating the site with photos as more develops!
